MV employees could join this local!
Representatives from ATU International are in town to organize the MV hourly employees and encourage them to be a division of local 1447. They will decide in a secret ballot in the near future. In a nutshell they will be able to attend meetings with us and vote mutually on most matters other than contract. TARC employees will have our own contract , work rules, etc. and MV will have thier own. Arbitratitions will be voted upon by all members in attendence. The approximate number of added members is 172. If you come across an MV employee please encourage them to vote in favor of ATU to reprsent them |
